On Wednesday,  I hung my head, put my tail between my legs, and crawled over to the Bright House Networks office on Carmel Drive, in Carmel, Indiana.  I begged to be reunited with my previous cable and internet provider.  Thankfully, they don't hold grudges, welcomed me back, and proved it by upgrading my contractual internet speed for free for 12 months.  My previous contract was for up to 7 Mbps and now I get up to 15 Mbps.  Yes, you read that correctly.  I was so grateful I added HD service and picked up two HD DVR's.

Yesterday, the Bright House technician arrived in the morning and within three hours our home was Bright again.

Bright with:   Gorgeous Digital, HD reception on two TV's
Bright with:   Two HD DVR recording our favorite shows
Bright with:   Cable Television on four more TV's
Bright with:   Blazingly Fast Internet of up to 15 Mbps
Bright with:   X-Box Live action
Bright with:   WoW Adventures

See how bright life can be.

I realize it's probably too late, but I thought I would offer myself to you if you decide to look at AT&T uverse again in the future, let me know.

I have a few team-mates that would love to know what happened on the back side.

Lemme know if I can be of any assistance.

Thanks

YOu have to be kidding me? Bright house Better then ATT? I had Brighthouse installed in april, the sameday I was on the phone with "tech Support" who would pass me around from bright house to roadrunner and back again. Both of them would say its the others fault. I have the 15mb/2mb speed, but I never see more then 5-6mb/2mb speeds period. Rude techs everytime they would come out. I finaly had enough and I am going with ATT Uverse because its a totaly different connection vs Brighthouse. Even Jeff Oaks, who is a Tech Manager never could give me an honest answer as to why the internet speeds never reached where they shoudlve been.

BOttom line, brighthouse sucks and ATT Uverse is alot better.

There are people out there who agree with you that U-Verse is the offspring of the devil mated with the Borg Queen. While researching the service in Houston, I found this review on Epinions.com

On the same site, though, I found 15,000 words by someone who thinks it's great.

Takes all kinds!

A consumer report and review of AT&T U-verse gateway wireless home network warning consumers that wireless internet speeds may be far less than advertised. AT&T wireless internet speeds may be highly inconsistent. Signal strength will show as 'excellent' but webpages will load very, very slowly. Much slower than cable internet for wireless. Speed test your internet connection. AT&T U-verse, Indianapolis, Carmel, Indiana. Bright House Networks, Indianapolis, Carmel, Indiana.
