i was happy with a dvr hard drive crash. requesting another one from att satellite only brought a sales pitch for uverse. this product is not ready for prime time. after four failed service calls, a successful hook-up because of my network tech, and then a failed service call to hook up my land line again, it was necessary to end all accounts with att for my home. it used to be a good company.

I just recently got the basic AT&T Uverse triple package here @ home after having the Comcast triple play package. I purchased this through one of those MLM based companies I beleive called the Wentworth group, & the young girl assured me it was the best thing since sliced bread. She also assured me the price $120.00 a month would not go up. Which I found out it later to be a lie. This has been the worst nightmare, AT&T obviously does not have it together enough here to compete with Comcast. Firstly sometimes it works, & sometimes not at all. Sometimes the entire picture freezes up. With the basic package there are no music channels as there are on Comcast, also you don't get the caller Id feature on call waiting, or call waiting appearing on the TV that Comcast triple play gives you either. There are really no selection of FREE on demand movies as there are on Comcast, only TV series & movie extras. Any on demand movies here are anywhere from $4.00 - $10.00. There is also no way to mark or remind you of a TV show upcoming that you might want to see, unless you get the upgrade to Recording boxes. & to top it all the first months phone bill , which is billed seperatly, ran me $100.00 & I don't even make Long Distance calls...Usually with comcast the phone bill ran $40.00. After knowing this I would not advise anyone thinking about going with the AT&T Uverse package to do so. Trust me after having the Comcast triple play, I can assure you your money is better spent going with the Comcast triple play, & yes I will be switching back.

Never had a bad experience with Uverse, perhaps it's because I'm new with them and haven't really encountered Kenyon Mills is whining about. But hopefully I won't. It's just about a week or so. Let's see...I'm crossing fingers I won't.

At&t uverse installed a dvr that failed after awhile..my dvd didn't work after they installed their equipment...was suppose to get a 150.00 rebate that never came...then was told you have to apply for that in the first 30 days..why didn't they just sent it to me..america has become more and more dishonest...

I recently changed from Direct TV(where I have been a valued customer for 10 yaers) to AT&T.In attempts to bundle my bill to save.I was told by a rep(Dawnie- ID #DD741) I would be payinyg for internet,phone/fax and cable ALL ON THE SAME BILL (i.e) this was the bundle. However when I recieved my bill it stated that I had a balance of $214.00 for internet and cable not to mention my fax/phone.Neddless to say my FAX NEVER WORKED.When I called I could not understand anyone because of their dialect. Two reps hung up the phone on me.I was utterly lied to, provided a dis-service and a great injustice.

ATT U-Verse is a good product, but it's only good when it's working. Trying to get service has been the worst experience whatsoever. I've been out of service for 3 days now (phone, data, TV) and nobody can tell me anything. I've spent countless hours with tech support trying to get a tech to come fix the issue that they identified. The big problem is that the outside people don't talk to the inside people. What kind of support structure is that. They are the cheapest, but I guess you get what you pay for.

ATT U - verse is a good product, but its only good when it's working. Services have been trying to get the worst experience of any responsibility. I've been out 3 days, and now services (telephone, data, TV), no one can tell me anything. I spent countless hours trying to get technical support and a high-tech to solve this problem, they're sure. The biggest problem is not with people outside the people inside. What kind of structure is supported. They are the cheapest, but I guess you get what you pay for.

I think Daniel works for AT&T. I was told by my honest and loyal sales person that my installation was free, and that if I didn't like the service I could return it within 30 days no charge. Well, I wasn't impressed enough with the service to pay almost 130$ a month. Further, I was never informed that AT&T bills two months in advance. So imagine my surprise when I recieved a bill for 300$. I returned the equipment after three weeks. Now I am stuck paying for the free installation and a months worth of service that I was in no way impressed with. To top it all off, I have a finished basement with suspended ceilings. Easy enough to tuck the wires up into. It didnt happen that way. The cables were ran through a basement window and all but dragged on the ground. Buyer beware. You might get a superb service such as Daniel described and you might not. The question is, how much do you want to loose to find out one way or the other?

absolutely the worst service ever!! I've had it installed a week ago, and not one day have I had service w/o interruption. All three (phone, Internet& tv) go out! What a waste of my time!
